anthocyanin biosynthesis

The description of anthocyanin biosynthesis in Antirrhinum majus followes mainly Martin C. et al. 1991. The Stereochemistry of the chalcone to flavanone transistion is taken from Hahlbrock K. et al. 1970. Where more data is available links in the scheme can be followed to the desciption of individual enzymes catalysing single steps in anthocyanine synthesis.
