Antirrhinum majus ssp. tortuosum
Mrs. Regine Weißmüller collected on November 14 1995 a specimen
of
Antirrhinum majus ssp. tortuosum from the Isle of Malta (Mediterranean).
This specimen consisted of flowering branches, that were put in an plastic
envelope and which survived well the flight from Malta to Munich and the
transprot by Mail from Munich to Cologne. One branch was photographed and
desiccated for the herbarium. Another branch was cut in 10 pieces, which
were planted in small pots and put into the greenhouse in order to
regenerate complete plants.
