4-methyl-2,6-naphthyridine

4-methyl-2,6-naphthyridine has been detected as a constituent of
snapdragons (Antirrhinum majus) by
K. J. Harkiss and D. Swift 1970
. The identity of the substance has been verified by
TLC, NMR, UV-spectra and mass spectrometry. It forms colourless needles
with a melting point of 78o degrees C.
