The the year 1992 the Bundessortenamt (Germany) compared 231 different
commercially available varieties of snapdragons.
In the Institut für Kulturpflanzenforschung Gatersleben (IPK)
a snapdragon herbarium is kept which also comprises specimens of
cultivars
A new (as of 2. February 1997) list of snapdragon seeds has been
compiled by Kai Berger and Kurt Stüber. This list is very extensive
and has a size of about 450 KByte. It contains informations
about varieties, quantities,
colours and prizes for about 1000 combinations. ATTENTION: We have
taken the current prices from the latest cataloques but do not guarantee
that they are correct. For information about current prizes contact the
seed companies directly. See their
addresses.
